Our other NYT Discord bot Connections

The short version

Privacy

Wordle Bot is built to do one thing: track Wordle results shared in your server. We keep the data needed to do that and nothing more.

What we store

Your Discord user ID and display name, the puzzle results you share in a tracked channel, and the stats derived from them (streaks, win rate, achievements). For each server we store the channel to watch and the admin role.

What we don’t

We don’t read messages outside the channel an admin has set. We don’t store message content beyond the parsed result, and we never sell or share your data.

Analytics

We use PostHog to count visits and see which features get used, on the website and in the bot. It records page views, the commands run and the fact that a result was logged, tied to your Discord user ID (and, if you sign in, your account ID). It never receives your email address, your display name, or the content of your messages.

Removing your data

A server admin can run /purge-user to delete an individual’s records, or /reset-all to wipe the server. Removing the bot from a server deletes everything tied to it.
